Analyst/Reporting Specialist at Investments, Corporate Finance

Within the Investment team based in Amsterdam, we’re currently looking for an Analyst/Reporting specialist Corporate Finance, capable of combining technical/programming skills with affiliation for investments.

The main responsibilities of the Analyst Corporate Finance are:

• Prepare the Solvency II files and reconciliations relating to investments using programming languages (RStudio, potentially Python at a later stage),
• Identify opportunities to improve the quality of reports produced as well as to achieve process efficiency, while using Excel and programming capabilities,
• Actively support transition between old and new investment administration systems, including managing data enhancement, reconciliations, and cleaning, ensuring proper data administration in the new environment, co-designing reports answering the current reporting and information sharing demands regarding investment assets,
• Provide in-depth analysis of the Atradius investment portfolio,
• Liaise with internal and external parties providing information on investments, 
• Liaise with various stakeholders in adapting internal systems and processes to the changes within the investment portfolio, in line with the EIOPA updates and IFRS regulations.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Solid experience in Excel and programming languages like R or Python,
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills,
• Affinity with financial instruments is an advantage,
• Track record of gathering requirements, defining and executing analysis,
• Experience in designing and developing models (e.g. relating to risk, income projections),
• Proven track record in building tools automating generation of enhanced data results, comparisons, visualization of data,
• Being goal-minded towards efficiency, quality, and practicality,
• Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision, but also being an effective team player,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Languages: English is a must, command of Spanish is an advantage,
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Economics, Finance, Computer/Data Science, Mathematical Finance, Econometrics,
• Experience with any modern investment administration tool will be an advantage,
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands (without a requirement for a visa).

Department Description

The investment team, being a part of Corporate Finance, Tax & ESG department, is the centralised unit responsible for developing and implementing the Atradius Group’s investment strategy, maintaining a state-of-the-art investment process, optimising the Group’s investment result, and delivering of the Solvency II data relating to market risk.
